Quran Reader ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Collect

Location data — Used only for calculating accurate prayer times. Location is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers.
App preferences — Language, theme, text size, and reciter choices are stored locally on your device via SharedPreferences.
Reading progress — Your last-read position is saved locally so you can resume where you left off.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob — We display banner ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Quran.com API — Quran text and audio are fetched from Quran.com's public API.
Aladhan API — Prayer times are calculated using the Aladhan public API.

Data Storage

All user data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Downloaded Quran audio files are saved to your device's local storage for offline access.

Your Rights

You can clear all app data at any time through your device's Settings > Apps > Quran Reader > Clear Data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
